Introducing South Loop Living

South Loop Living

The Denovati Group has recently assumed full responsibility for managing the digital activities of a start-up called South Loop Living, a group that celebrates the heart, soul and energy of the Near South Side of Chicago. This project enables us to develop, implement, and showcase best practices in digital engagement. In this article we introduce South Loop Living and provide links to its main digital presences.

One of The Denovati Group’s core offerings is Social and Digital Engagement Services. In most cases we work collaboratively with clients who assume primary responsibility for their website, social media channels, and email and digital marketing. Recently, however, we’ve assumed full responsibility for managing the digital activities of a start-up group called South Loop Living.

South Loop Living is dedicated to celebrating, exploring, and sharing the heart, soul and energy of the Near South Side of Chicago. They do this by highlighting what gives the South Loop life and makes it a vibrant and growing community. Their comprehensive approach includes people and places, events and activities, news and developments, and businesses and other organizations.

South Loop Living’s objective is to be the definitive source of information about the area for current and prospective residents, as well as visitors. They strive to:

  • Enrich the lives of those who currently call it home
  • Inspire and entice those who are considering moving here
  • Enhance the experiences of the thousands of people who visit annually

What – and where – is the South Loop you ask? You can learn about the group’s perspective in South Loop Borders: Our Take and by exploring the Neighborhood and Micro-Communities section of their website. You’re invited to explore these other sections as well:

South Loop Living has established a strong social media presence, with daily activity on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Check it out! People in/near Chicago in particular might be interested in their Things to Do in the Summer pages, including activities and events for July and August as well as Recurring Summer Events. In addition, they’ve created a few guides to help folks maximize this glorious season (with more to come!):

I’d love for you to connect with the group on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, join their mailing list, and/or spread the word about South Loop Living as a resource for current and prospective residents and visitors. And of course I welcome your feedback and suggestions to make South Loop Living even better.
